Most of my clients are entrepreneurs, business owners, executives and their management teams. Often, the companies I work with wish to take their success to the next level but are stuck in the inertia of their current business practices and beliefs. For the past 20 years I have helped companies with revenues ranging from start-up to $50 million achieve breakthrough results and success in industries as varied as food, automotive, insurance, construction, technology, education, medical, real estate and more.
A general description of my business acceleration process:
If I were to describe what works about the business acceleration, the first thing I would say is that it deals with human dynamics. That is why I have been able to create success in many different industries – from construction to food marketing to technology to automotive. It is not about the industry itself, but rather people. Thus, by understanding the core of the team and what is in the way of their success, I am able to unleash their power and potential and help them create the results they desire.
I don’t consider this rocket science. Basically, the tools I access are communication/language, generating clarity and awareness of goals, creating a focus that serves each client, and then providing both direction and accountability. Another key tool is creativity and fun. I notice that the more these last two are present, the more spectacular the results can be.
At its core, my Business Acceleration System addresses 3 key areas – People, Process & Priorities.
People – In a nutshell, we make sure you have the right people, with the right skills, in the right jobs. This piece may also involves “getting the right people on the bus, the wrong people off the bus” to borrow from Jim Collins, author of Good to Great.
Process – As companies grow, it is important to identify, define, and establish processes that will create a platform that supports the companies growth. This is often an area that entrepreneurial companies resist, thinking it will kill their creative spirit. However, the flaw in that thinking is that typically what brought that company to its current level of success will not bring it to the NEXT level of success.
Priorities – Surprisingly, many companies do not have a clear vision, defined goals, established plans and clear milestones to create and measure success and ensure accountability. This part of the process establishes those for the company in an easy, painless way.

My inspiration for doing this work:
Perhaps the best way to answer this question is to refer to the tagline on my business card and a line in my personal mission statement. My business card reads, “Unleashing the Human Spirit.” A line in my mission statement reads, “To always inspire others to see and achieve their greatness.”
I have an innate belief in possibility. It truly amazes me what can happen to an individual or organization when they believe in themselves. Suddenly, they realize they are capable of anything. In the beginning of our work together, I often say that I will believe in my clients more than they will believe in themselves. However, once they get traction and start to see what is possible, that belief is transferred to them and they begin to accomplish great things.
What motivates me:
Two things. One, the gratification and acknowledgement of proving over and over again the truth of the fact that we are truly capable of anything we desire and set our minds to. Two, witnessing the transformation of people and organizations as they awaken to the power they hold within.
